I'm interested, but I don't know if I can get a kitchen pass or not. I also need to take the freaking street bike for a ride. I don't think I've gone on a joy ride at all this year....

I'm out as I will be heading to my brother's property to do some more practice of the dirtwise exercises and teach some of them to one of my kids... I'm not sure I should be 'real' riding right now anyway as I just about turned my right foot around backwards a couple weeks ago (toes stopped but the rest of me and the bike kept going forwards).

Floated the idea by the wife and she seems ok with it as long as she is feeling ok. Should be able to make this. Let's all say a prayer for our brake rotors and chain guides now, lol.

Good riding today.

Had another stupid flat tire. About a 1" gash in the side, so it wasn't going to get patched. Ended up yanking out the tubliss entirely and just putting a normal tube in it.

While limping to the trucks with the flat, the bike decided to follow a rut and with the lack of precise steering, I ended up in the dirt at about 20 mph. Confidence gone. Amazing how quickly the mental side of things can change.

I feel your pain. Sucks.... I took a totally unexpected spill at about that same speed while running fireroads last week. Getting tossed onto the ground gets old sometimes.

Joe is the only guy I know that maintains his stuff, but still gets flats with tubliss and still breaks a valve on a two stroke, lol. Better on a trail ride than at a race I suppose.

It was fun riding in the rocks again. Totally different skill set than what we are used to with the VCHSS races.
