I *think* family has me booked on Saturday. But I will see.

Of course this all depends on dealing with kidney stone currently plaguing me.

Oh, dang. My brother has had 2 or 3 of those. He called them the worst pain ever and he's had a shoulder separation where his arm was basically just held on by the skin.

Let's see, I've been impaled by a motorcycle foot peg, run over, had a dislocated shoulder (for 3 hours). This was worse. The spasms are what get you. You are in pain, then suddenly your body decides to spasm and really torture you. I was breathing like I was giving birth. My BP with about 180/100. Soooo not happy. At first I thought maybe I caught something from Dodge (He was sick-ish on the way back from VCHSS race on Sunday) But another 10 minutes, nausea, etc....time to call my brother and have him take me to the ER.

Next on my list, what I need to do to prevent this from happening again.

Oh yeah, this was *only* a 3mm stone in my right kidney. They identified a 4mm one in my left kidney. So I have that going for me.

Yay.

Did they have to laser or shock wave it or did you get to give natural birth?

So far, just lots of painkillers. Nothing has plinked yet into the strainer. Not much in the way of pain right now. But I was specifically told to do the full 3 days of PK's. It's not a huge one. But it's my first and holy crap I went down so fast it wasn't funny on Monday night.

Been doing fine today. Lucid for a while, wozy and down for a while, rinse, repeat.

Still, I'm hoping I've gone through the rough part. Just don't know. So I'm leery about what the rest of the week will bring. Can't concentrate on much of anything. Ugh.
