Haven't had a chance yet, been out to Wicomico a few times. Report back if you do go!

Fun place to ride if you're into MX.

I thought the trail wasn't too bad, but would definitely agree, I'd only hit Tomahawk if your looking primarily for MX. They have a great MX track and also a Super Cross style track. (and a "beginner" mx track)

And if you are just learning harder trails. You are never particularly far from the pits as the trail basically circles the MX part of Tomahawk.

It's a bigger and well maintained MX park.

Wicomico is typically poorly maintained (In my opinion) MX courses of multiple levels. The woods is about 5 miles and essentially just one step above light trail riding. They don't generally have the single track sections open for typical riding days, only race days.

You can also step up to more difficult trails by hitting The Cove or Taskers Gap. But those are going to be rocky and not for the faint of heart. Get some trail riding under your belt, some advice on bike setup, and some trail time first.

Expect to hit the ground. So wear safety gear. More is better. This time of year having a camelbak and summer oriented gear is critical. You can boil yourself pretty quickly without realizing it.

Yes I'm looking for MX.
I have been to hatfields a bunch of times for some great and challenging riding
I'm looking at doing both mx and trail more often

Then you will like Tomahawk is my guess. Certainly a much nicer place than Wicomico.

If you have done Hatfield, then Taskers will be fun. I haven't been in over a year. I need to do that again soon.

Should I go for the 5 gallon or the 50 gallon drum?

And I will have just come back from 10 days in Colorado. So I will either be back up to speed, or totally broken.

Wait. Have I ever used you to berm off of for a turn?

Hahahahahhahah. I'm racing out there soon. Wyoming.

I'm going to try to get a couple of days in VA before we head to MI for the Jack Pine and a couple of days on the dunes.
