So here is a short clip of me getting the hole shot for my line of 19 guys. Was a great race just need to work on better/faster lap times. Just going 2 minutes faster a lap and I would have place in the top 10 easy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_qj...ature=youtu.be

Nice work! What do you think keeps you from going faster?

This race was 7.8 miles (x4 laps) and we were doing them in the 35 minute range. Leaders were doing them in ~27 minutes.

And I've done difficult hare scrambles where the leaders only got 2 laps in with 2.5 hours on trail and a 12 mile loop. I got 1 lap. Some buddies crapped out after 1/2 a lap. It depends on the course, weather, and conditions.

I will say that VCHSS had pretty awesome trails all last year. Some were tight, but overall they were good.
