Sounds like a good idea. Do you have a winch on that thing?

I will watch....the ridge trail rocks were a pita enough with the leaves, then add in 495 gnar and more leaves....nope. Also I should be in as the kid has off so he and I will rotate riding with watching Arrabella. However I request if you do 495 we do that at the end of the day.....lol.

I'm thinking a buddy with a CH-47 Chinook might be required. I could have him set the bike down in the middle of the trail for a photo op and then have him lift me back out.

Speaking of winches. I lol'd a few years back at the IMS when I spied a winch mounted on the back of a Super Tenere at the Yamaha booth. But I can sort of understand the thinking behind that now.

(Actually I was able to motor out of this just fine. But had I not been... Ugh.)

Maybe I'm not adventurous but I like to keep my street bikes and dirt bikes pretty well separated. I've been through something that deep on the cbr before though. It was on the street during a heavy rain and looked a lot more shallow as I approached it. I was temporarily blinded by the water flying over my head. After getting to the other side I giggled like a little girl.

I'm out, its been raining out there yesterday and today. It was sketchy enough with dry leaves, don't want to find out what traction is like with wet ones.

3.5 hours of riding in the rain today has cured me of my desire to do anything but sit around the house tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure it rained. I've just about got my gloves dried out (waterproof membrane, yeah right) so I can hit them with heavy duty camp dry.
