In my quixotic quest not to have my cruiser actually handle like a cruiser I just installed a Hammer front end on my 8-Ball. I haven't had a chance to take it out to the twisties but the bike feels much more responsive. Here are a couple of pics of the new front end:




The front end swap was the second step in my quest. The first step was getting some custom dog bones made to lift the rear end an inch and a half which you can see here:

Dual disks are an option in the long run and why I got the Hammer forks and not the Kingpin forks. But unlike the forks and wheels it's not parts that usually get upgraded so they're hard to find cheap.
