I don't like many American air-cooled bikes, but I've always like Nortons and bobbers. Harley is finally releasing a pretty slick little bike.

Not bad, don't know how much I like the final drive being on the exhaust side tho + an extra 290$ for a painted tank only.

basically the same bike - the differences I can see are the 48 has less fuel capacity, is longer by 3 inches and taller by ~ 1 inch. Other then that, the engine is the same - same fuel economy, same suspension. Colors and Aesthetics are the only the difference that I can see.

IMO Nightster is way cooler sounding then 'The 48' - but thats just me. My first bike was a sportster, so I'm not ragging - for the first 5 years of having that bike, I didn't have much problem with it. I most bikes - but 'The 48' seems to be more of a commercial idea to create prestige.

I would definitely it, but I wouldn't buy it.

It is mostly asthetics. I like the blacked out look. Thats with the Midnight version of the Road Star Warrior is my favorite.
