Orange County Choppers - Done! - February 6, 2010, 04:50 PM

I'm at a loss for words...

'American Chopper' -- It's Over!

"American Chopper" is ending its run on TLC and the crazy Teutul family will ride their bikes off into the sunset.

This Thursday's episode will be the series finale of the show.
A rep for TLC tells us, "The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run."

The move is not entirely unexpected -- as we reported in December, Paul Teutul, Sr. is suing his son Paul over the family business, Orange County Choppers.

The last episode airs February 11 at 9:00 PM.

Yeah it will be interesting to see how that lawsuit plays out. It's pretty dirty, started around Christmas too.

I drilled down in that article and found nothing more than 'it is over stock options that JR agreed to sell SR'. SR is claiming damages of $1mil, which is probably the difference in the strike price of the options and the current market value of the stock.

Sounds like it was word of mouth.

I never thought when watching that show that those guys would go toe to toe one day over 'stock options'. I guess 'business' is 'business, no matter how fugly your bikes are...
