That's sad Victory was a better bike.

I have an idea. Do something other than build a Harley-like v-twin.
Like maybe a V-4.

Dayum, so does this mean my Vic is going up in price or hitting rock bottom? Good thing I bought it used for cheap and will keep it till it dies. I love the Vision Tour.

yeah i was thinking the same thing....not sure if they feel they have to build comparable motors to win HD fans, but I would think something with more power, better fuel economy and reliability would be the motor to build.

The problem with taking Harley down is that the people who buy them do so often for the name exclusively. They're not shopping for a product with more power, better looking, better suspension, build quality, fuel economy, or a lower price. They're just looking for the badge. These types of people are great to milk money from on "authentic" Harley clothing and accessories.

What, and abandon decades-old technology and 1000-lb bikes? GTFOutta here!

Right? Harley acts like taking a few hundred lbs out of their bikes would be a sin.

Victory- liquid cooled, OHC
Indian- older tech than my Jeep Wrangler (but with cruise control and keyless start!)

I'm sure Jet Ski corporation has a reason on the kill/ keep decision, it just doesn't seem clear to me.

With the amount of times they breakdown, the extra weight is appreciated. It helps you coast that much further.
