It's supposed to be a lower end bike. Not really for competition. So I guess "Ready to Race" doesn't apply?

Now the Freeride E - I'm hoping the battery technology improves. Having a nearly silent dirtbike would be awesome.

Well KTM needs to bring in to the market lower end units. In order to survive they need to sell more bikes. I think this is great. It is going to be very good but yea not totally race ready. The next Duke will get cheaper components to bring down the price. KTM is starting to see the marketing light! Next they need to train their mechanics.

Wonder how this compares to the KTM SX-F and XC-F 350's.

So is this bike a crossover between a trials bike and enduro? Wherever they are riding is gorgeous but you could be fucked if you hopped the wrong hill.

Blows them away. The second vid talks about some of the KTM comparisons.

Beta's only problem right now is obscurity and price. There is no flaw in performance, reliability, handling, or styling.

They put their own engines in the 400 and 450 in 2010 and all the enduros this year. The reviews of the Beta engines are all positive Their 350 has always been their own, from what I've read. Plus they have always put their own engines in the trials and little enduros, again, according to my knowledge on this.

Italy is a nation with problems, but making great motorcycles is not one of them.

Sure, blame the Ape.

And about the original video, the suspension on the Freeride looks to be very cushy.
