Hey man, if fitment is the only issue holding you back, give Jason a call at the number on the site. If you ask, he can probably configure the battery you need in a variety of forms as a custom order. He makes the batteries for KTM Factory Motocross and they use a pretty trick setup. All you have to do is ask. I've got a Genesis G1 in the scooter, it's about as big as 2 packs of cigs held together. He could also cut you some custom ground and power wires to and from the unit if you ask.

Plus he's a local company, supports the sport and is pretty easy to work with.

Let me know if you have any questions. He's one of my sponsors.

That's awesome that they're local. I will give them a call when that time comes. Thanks for that info!

Got some work done stripping the bike down. Going to be ordering lots of new parts over the winter. Including things like this:

Dynoman Performance - the finest in motorcycle parts and service

Also, here is another good source for parts

Vintage Honda Cafe Racer Parts

New coils, new wiring, new everything basically. All of it available on that site.

Cool beans

DCC is where I normally get parts from. They have great prices but they'll get you on shipping. David Silver Spares - HOME is another great place. It's based in UK but they have USD prices as well and will ship to US.

I got it torn down to just motor and frame. Gonna take the engine out this week then clean up this frame and repaint it.

David silver spares has a complete wiring harness. If I decide to go complete, that's what i'll do. Still like the minimalist idea though. Brake light, headlights, notin else

Speedy and tach are both cable driven, so really just lights. And I was planning on just illuminating them. Wasn't planning on having a neutral indicator, turn signals, or any other nonsense.

You will still have to wire in starter, Rectifier (if equipped) along with coils and various other shit.
