I've got one more question. I'm gonna switch to synthetic oil and I'm going to do an engine flush first. The instructions on the Amsoil site say to change the filter before adding the flush, then idling the bike for 15 minutes, then draining the oil. Are you really supposed to change the filter before adding the flush? Won't that fill the new filter with old oil? Or do you actually need two new filters to do the full flush and change?
If something's not getting shot, blown up, or banged I'm not interested.
